Diclofop Methyl is an aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide that inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), preventing fatty acid synthesis in grass weeds. It is used as a post-emergence herbicide for selective control of wild oat and other annual grasses in wheat, barley, and other cereal crops. Diclofop Methyl is readily absorbed through foliage and translocated to growing points where it exerts herbicidal activity.
